Church Mice Quilters

Finally, spring has arrived in Ohio. The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping and we’re getting lots of VERY nice days.

Seeing all the beautiful flowers in my garden leads me to dream about making floral inspired, spring-themed quilts. The pastel colors of the lilacs and the hyacinths, the forsythia and the Bradford pears sets my mind to wandering down similarly hued fabric paths.

Take some time to look through your stash for floral or pastels and make a spring quilt. You’ll have it, then, year round to remind you of this wonderful time of year.

We have moved our group both physically and on the net.

Physically, we have moved our meetings to the basement of the public library in Fairborn, OH. We are also now meeting on the first Saturday of each month. Previously we had been meeting on the third Saturday.

We have also moved our internet home as well. The domain was recently moved to a new hosting provider and therefore all the content has to be reloaded. This is not yet complete, so the site is a little bare right now.
